Week 2. Monday.

On Monday morning our project manager and framers brought construction materials they needed and started working on the basement staircase.

Demolition took about an hour. The guys worked fast.

Today also marked the discovery of our first hidden problem... internal leakage and rotten bearing beam. Fortunately, only a small part of the beam was rotten and we didn’t have to replace the entire beam. Phew! Now we need to find the source of internal leakage.

By the end of Monday, the beam was replaced, supporting pillars were installed and the frame for the staircase was ready.
